Pet abandonment, pet overpopulation, and animal shelter/rescue overcrowding are all significant problems in the US and other countries across the world. As well as via Forbes magazine one of the top 5 hiring problems of 2021 is “Delivering On Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Promises.” At Misfits and Underdogs Sanctuary we plan to create a safe space for homeless animals while having an all-inclusive hiring process. Allowing for those who truly realize and feel what it’s like to be misunderstood to care for and handle animals that feel the same. Creating an environment filled with compassion and training for all needs of animals and humans alike.
