OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Like most people in society, the founders of Misfits & Underdogs Sanctuary had witnessed countless examples where animals are ignored by our fellow humans. The idea that there might be an animal shelter where these forgotten or misfits could find rehabilitation seemed like a worthwhile goal to strive towards; so they set out on their journey into creating such a place. Whether it’s adopting out adoptable dogs or providing a safe space for the most vulnerable populations, our goal is to help people and animals in need. With this philosophy at its core and with a team that includes volunteers from all walks of life who are dedicated towards saving lives through animal welfare initiatives - we strive every day toward making our community kinder and united! We offer several services including dog training programs in which a dog can be rehabbed before going into their new homes--if they cannot be rehabilitated then those animals will stay in our sanctuary until their next stage life.
